I got three cruisers and a BB to chase me into open water where they were all broadsided by the green team while those who stayed were burned while they camped.Īmerican subs are death traps though, so don't get close enough that you're surrounded without an escape route. German subs easily escape areas unless the reds have a _lot_ of hydro and/or a DD or fast light cruiser hunting you and you've expended all of your DCP.I had a particularly crazy match at the beginning of this week with 3 caps variant of Northern Lights where I, as U-2501, charged a column of 8 reds above the big island in the center. well just remember that subs are overpowered ) If that means you kill all the reds and leaves the rest of the team unsupported. Like most ships you need to plan where to be in the next few minutes. They're not supposed to quickly cross the entire map. But they will gradually boost them back, little by little until they’re more reasonable in their ability. I’m thinking that Wargames wants to have them really weak when they first introduce them because people are crying so loud already. Because it really is quite easy to kill them. Once people realize how easy it is to kill them, I think they’ll quit complaining as much. ![]() And once you pop up for air, you are shot down. ![]() And you can only hold your breath underwater for so long. ![]() That makes it difficult to escape from the area where they are now hunting you actively. One thing I have found frustrating is how slow they are to get across the map, and how slow to maneuver and turn. ![]()
